Nanteague House is semi-detached with its own south-facing sun-trap patio to the front, the perfect place for evening drinks as it overlooks the central courtyard and heated swimming pool (shared with Nanteague Cottage, heated by an air source heat pump and available mid-May to the start of September).
The accommodation is quirky, being on several levels with stairs between. Traditionally furnished and offering excellent value, this is a great holiday cottage for families with the pool, lake and meadow providing ample means for keeping active youngsters entertained with swimming, fishing, den-building and lakeside picnics.
Nanteague House has a big, fully equipped kitchen/diner on the ground floor, together with a bathroom and bedroom with three single beds, perfect for families. A few stairs rise to the first small sitting-room, furnished with a comfortable sofa, and open-tread stairs lead up to the second little sitting-room above with a television and DVD player/recorder. Further steps lead down to the master bedroom, which has an en suite shower-room and views over the courtyard and heated swimming pool.
An outdoor kennel and run are available for dogs when guests are visiting dog-free attractions and plenty of spectacular coastal footpaths and beach walks are within a few miles.
The renowned north coast surfing beaches at Porthtowan and Chapel Porth are just 15 minutes away by car and the miles of sandy beach and grass covered dunes at Perranporth are closer still.
A freshly baked cream tea is provided by the welcoming Owner (who lives next door) when guests arrive at Nanteague House, a lovely start to the holiday and sure to be appreciated after a long journey.
