Rosedale is a traditional detached cottage which enjoys a fantastically convenient location set back slightly from the main road leading to the famously popular St Ives, its wonderful coastline and Porthkidney Sands. There are views onto the Hayle estuary from the first floor bedrooms and, with a games-room and pool table, the whole family are guaranteed an enjoyable stay.

The kitchen is well-equipped and decorated in soft blues. The spacious sitting/dining-room is nearby with its roaring open fire. Stairs lead up to the two double bedrooms – one of which is en suite – and the family bathroom is also on this level.

There is a well-maintained garden with a terrace and view to the estuary.

Rosedale is perfectly situated for exploring this part of Cornwall. The West Cornwall Golf Club in Lelant welcomes visitors into its bar and restaurant and St Ives is just a 10 minute drive away where the busy streets are filled with cafes, restaurants, shops, galleries and not forgetting the fabulously sandy beaches for some fun in the sun.

A drive down to Land's End to take in the breathtaking views is worth the trek passing Penzance along the way. The open air Jubilee Pool, an Art Deco seawater lido is fun for all the family, but do book ahead. The quaint villages of Mousehole and Newlyn are also worth a visit - why not stop for an ice cream or clotted cream tea on the way?
