Great Ash Barn is a delightful detached barn conversion on the edge of an historic family farmstead.
There is a panoramic view across the fields for miles from the patio and enclosed garden-area above it.
Children will love this setting - lambs in springtime in particular.
The dining-area enjoys the best of the views - that is if you are not eating outside in the fresh air.
The living-area has a wood-burning stove and the owners provide you with all the logs you will need for your entire stay.
The kitchen-area also has a huge island/breakfast bar.
You will be made very welcome the moment you arrive here with a gift pack of local produce.

The farmland stretches away into the distance.
You will often see the farm's cows in the field next to the cottage - they are sure to come up and see you too!
Grassy lanes and footpaths lead from the farm into the tranquil countryside. (This is not the track to the farm!)
The cottage has the great advantage of this sheltered patio-area, a grassed lawn higher up and gated parking too. Please supervise small children on the steps.
At the top end of the garden there is even a hammock to while away a summer's day in!
You will want to eat al fresco here.

If you want to get away from the madding crowd, be off the beaten track surrounded by the Devon countryside yet with that something special that a great holiday deserves, Great Ash Barn fits the bill.

This delightful barn conversion is on the edge of an historic family-run farmstead deep in the mid-Devon landscape. The panoramic outlook over open countryside gives you complete privacy and the three bedroom/two shower-room, open plan accommodation is bright and spacious. An enclosed garden area is a bonus.

The farm is at the end of a wonderful country lane, with new tarmac all the way and with plenty of passing places. It will set the scene for the tranquillity you will find at this lovely detached property, which has peaceful footpaths from the doorstep for you to explore.

This barn has been designed to make the most of the view, with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors in the open plan living/kitchen/dining-area. The gorgeous living space has a large kitchen island so you can have your morning coffee contemplating the view that stretches for miles, and for useful flexibility one of the double bedrooms with its en suite shower-room is downstairs.

You can see for miles from Great Ash Barn with only a tiny glimpse of other farmsteads in the distance. There is a dedicated drive entrance and parking-area, a patio for sitting-out and a raised grassy garden which is fully enclosed.

You are welcome to walk through the fields at Ash Bullayne Farm although do be aware that there will be livestock on this beef and arable farm, which is why the enclosed garden is so reassuring for guests who wish to bring their four-legged friends. If you do want to have an outing without your dog, the owners offer you the use of their large kennel.
