Dot's Cottage is a very pretty period, deceptively spacious property in a small terrace just a stone's throw from the fabulous sandy beach
The beach at Instow is fabulous - miles of soft sand, and shallow pools to play in at low tide (not the view from the cottage but literally steps away).
Take the seasonal passenger ferry from the quay across to Appledore.
The cottage has a warm and welcoming open plan sitting/dining area with stylish furniture and wooden floors.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a little breakfast-area which children especially will love. The back door leads to the garden.
The cottage has a lovely back garden and a secure shed if you want to bring bikes to make the most of the Tarka Cycle Trail that runs right through the village.
Another view of the living area with its pretty ornamental wood-burner - candles in it give a great effect for a cosy evening in.
This is a great place for a family or for couples at any time of the year.
If you don't want to eat out, you can buy the most delicious of produce at the deli around the corner
A fun way for children to start the day....
... and a lovely way for grown ups to end it...
