Tucked away in a wonderfully tranquil location behind Swanpool Nature Reserve and just a ten minute walk from Swanpool beach, this modern, spacious family house is the perfect location for those wanting easy access to beaches, coastal walks and the delights of Falmouth town. Set within a mature enclosed plot, and close to the friendly Owner, Driftwood has plenty of space to spread out, with an open plan kitchen/dining/living-room at the centre of the house. A conservatory and snug offer more leisure space and a patio area outside provides a sunny spot for outdoor meals. There is a beach cafe and waterside bistro as well as water sports tuition and hire at Swanpool beach, with shops, bars, cafes and restaurants in abundance in Falmouth itself.

Driftwood is a delightful family house with enough space for families and groups of friends to spread out. The fully fitted kitchen is ideal for preparing leisurely holiday meals, and the open plan design connects this to the dining-area, living-room and conservatory, so everyone can be together without being on top of each other. A snug offers a chance of peace and quiet for those wanting to read a book or watch a favourite television programme on the Smart TV with Netflix (also provided in the main living-room). A ground floor bedroom next to the family bathroom is great for those with limited mobility (or those wishing for a little privacy from boisterous youngsters!) with three bedrooms and a shower-room on the floor above. There is private parking and a securely enclosed garden, ideal for dog lovers who wish to bring their canine friends and walk the nearby coastal footpaths. Swanpool is a lovely area on the outskirts of Falmouth, centred around a large tree-lined lake – home to many species of wild birds and water fowl – and the sand and shingle beach of the little cove. This is an ideal spot for learning to kayak or paddle board, perfect for families with teenagers while younger ones will thoroughly enjoy exploring the rock pools at low tide. With sandy beaches at Maenporth in one direction and Gyllyngvase in the other, you'll be spoilt for choice on sunny days. Falmouth town centre is less than a mile away with a wide variety of shops, galleries, eating places and activities, from the National Maritime Museum Cornwall to ferries running from Prince of Wales Pier to St Mawes, Truro, the National Trust's Trelissick Gardens and the Helford River.
