This cottage is an excellent base for a very wide range of places to visit, whether you are after some culture – the Roman City of Bath and the Cathedral City of Wells, shopping for treats – St Catherine's in Frome for a wonderful choice of independent shops, boutiques and galleries, visiting spectacular gardens – the National Trust's Stourhead is about 13 miles away, or entertaining children – the Longleat Safari Park is about 10 miles away. If you simply want to switch off from the pressures of daily life, the cottage is a comfortable retreat and the surrounding countryside offers you riverside walks and a footpath to the the next village for lazy pub lunches. Try the monthly weekend artisan market in Frome for excellent local produce and bring the treats back to the cottage and prepare a delicious home grown supper in the well-equipped kitchen. Although no longer a working farm, the two cottages here enjoy the historic setting and are situated on the other side of the farmstead from the Owner’s farmhouse. The broadband provision has recently been substantially upgraded and there is a very good signal here.
