Brick Cottage

3301

The Lizard / Sleeps 4 + cot*

7 Nights from £348 - £756

Located on the edge of Lizard village within walking distance of the sea and a selection of eateries and shops, this delightful cottage adjoining the Owner's home and its near neighbour The Lobster Pot (3302) is perfect for two couples or a small family. With a private entrance this is a deceptively large, well-equipped and comfortable cottage and after your day out exploring choose from two comfy double bedrooms, one of which can be transformed into twin beds on request. To the side of the property you will find your enclosed courtyard, perfectly placed to fire up the barbecue for those tasty sausages you purchased from the village butchers, this is what memorable holidays are made of.

A short walk from the cottage takes you down to the very picturesque hamlet of Church Cove where the pretty church is well worth a visit and as you meander down the lane to the sea, you will pass chocolate-box pretty cottages along the way. Join the coast path and walk a few miles around to Housel Bay and to Lizard Point where you can stop for a cream tea at the cafe and then loop back around through the village to pick up a few supplies and perhaps pop into one of the many eateries to reserve a table or grab some of Ann's pasties and take them to the beach tomorrow. Within a short drive by car or by joining the coast path close by, in one direction you can visit the rugged beaches at Cadgwith Cove, Kennack Sands and on to the sandy bay at Coverack (10 miles by the South West Coast Path), whilst heading west will take you around to the much photographed Kynance Bay and on to Mullion and Poldhu Coves and finally on to the foodie destination of Porthleven (13.5 miles on the South West Coast Path).
