You will think you are in a five star hotel at The Coach House Stables – a converted original stable building with a huge south-facing courtyard on a country estate in the gentle Somerset countryside just outside the very attractive small town of Milverton near Wellington. With three spacious luxurious bedrooms, all with top quality en suite facilities, this is a perfect choice for a group of friends or a family wanting a touch of luxury for their holiday. This single-storey annexe to part of the original country house has a wonderful entrance hall to set the scene, a really large and beautifully furnished sitting/dining-room, a very well-equipped kitchen and French windows to a large private back garden and patio. The Owners next door are a mine of local information and will be more than happy to give you ideas and directions, however their guests' privacy is paramount and you will feel totally independent and The Coach House Stables is not overlooked.
A few steps up from the living area, one whole wing of The Coach House Stables is dedicated to the three sumptuous bedrooms each individually styled. One of the bedrooms offers the flexibility of being set up as super-king sized bed or twins. No-one will feel they have drawn the short straw here! As well as the exceptional accommodation, you can follow the sun outside by sitting in the courtyard in the morning or in the garden in the afternoon and evening – where there are views across open fields. This part of Somerset offers so much, and with easy access from the M5 and then on into the Vale of Taunton, the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Exmoor National Park, you will be spoilt for choice if you love the great outdoors. There is even a local station at Bishops Lydeard for the West Somerset Steam Railway which will take you up to the coast at Minehead. Milverton, an easy walk from the property, has a very good local shop and an award-winning pub, The Globe, whilst Wellington is the nearest small town for all your other shopping needs. There are some excellent farm shops nearby too, one at Rumwell on the road between Wellington and Taunton, and one at Bishops Lydeard close to the Steam Railway station.
