Tresawls Lodge is set in a sheltered spot in the quiet hamlet of Trescowe, close to the coast yet away from the crowds and traffic. The surfing beach at Praa Sands is a five minute drive and it’s only a little further to Perranuthnoe with its wonderful beach cafe and award-winning gastro pub. Ideally placed for exploring the whole of southwest Cornwall: Penzance, Helston and St Ives Bay are all within an eight mile radius and close by is the historic Godolphin Manor, with its network of footpaths and far reaching views from the top of Godolphin Hill. Fresh to the market in 2016, Tresawls has all new furniture and equipment, all carefully colour co-ordinated by the Owner.
The large kitchen/diner and spacious sitting-room are just the job for relaxed family gatherings and upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms and two stylish bath/shower-rooms, one with a roll-top bath. To the rear of the house there’s a pretty enclosed and private garden which is a real sun-trap in good weather and with a large patio and gas barbecue it is perfect for al fresco dining with friends and family (access through the back door). The hamlet of Trescowe is made up of around 20 houses and cottages and is therefore a tranquil retreat after a day out exploring the bustling shops of St Ives or down at the beach trying to catch some waves. Easy parking, easy living, hassle-free holiday – what more could you want from your stay in Cornwall?
