Close to the coast, yet away from the crowds and traffic, Tresawls Lodge is set in the quiet hamlet of Trescowe. The beautiful surfing beach at Praa Sands is a five minute drive away and it's not much further to Perranuthnoe with its wonderful beach cafe and award winning gastro pub. Tresawls Lodge is ideally placed for exploring the whole of southwest Cornwall: Penzance, Helston, St Ives Bay and Porthleven are all within an eight mile radius. Close by is the historic Godolphin Manor, with its network of footpaths and far reaching views from Godolphin Hill.
Opening in 2016, all the furniture and equipment was bought new and carefully colour coordinated by the Owner, to create a very calm effect. The large kitchen/diner and spacious sitting-room are just the job for relaxed family gatherings and upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms and two stylish bath/shower-rooms, one with a roll-top bath. To the rear of the house there's a pretty, enclosed and private garden which is a real sun-trap in good weather and with a large patio and gas barbecue it is perfect for al fresco dining (access through back door). The sheltered hamlet of Trescowe consists of around 20 houses and is surrounded by farmland, so it's a tranquil retreat after a day out exploring the bustling streets of St Ives or down at the beach trying to catch some waves. It's only 1.3 miles back up to the main road, but rest assured you'll not hear the traffic.
