Overlooking the beautiful sub-tropical Morrab Gardens and just a short stroll from Penlee House Gallery and the wonderful Penzance promenade, The Garden Flat is the perfect base for exploring this vibrant seaside town and the beauty and charm of far west Cornwall.
Step inside to discover a cute and cosy all on one level getaway, with a comfortable living room and a lovely and light kitchen, perfect for preparing a picnic hamper and enjoying a leisurely breakfast. Four steps lead to the sunny conservatory, the ideal spot for sitting back with a good book or simply enjoying some peace and quiet.
After a day of exploring, you're sure to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the sweet bedroom with its king-size bed. From there, you'll find the wonderful double shower-room and the private courtyard, ideal for sunny mornings enjoying a cup of coffee before a day of adventures. The Garden Flat is truly a great spot for your Cornish adventure.
Whilst there is no parking available at The Garden Flat, there is unlimited free parking on one side of Morrab Road and you can park along the seafront a short stroll away free of charge, so why not simply leave the car behind as there's plenty to do in Penzance, with its fabulous collection of eateries and shops. The promenade is a delightful place for a leisurely stroll, soaking up the wonderful views and the fresh sea air. Here you'll find the Jubilee Pool, the UK's largest Art Deco Sea water lido, a great spot to go for a dip, or just enjoy a coffee and cake from the café!
The public transport system is excellent should you chose to explore elsewhere and leave the driving to someone else. There's lots of things to do nearby, why not pay a visit to magical St Michael's Mount for a fun-filled day of adventures, spend a day or two wandering around the lovely fishing village of Newlyn and Mousehole, both charming places with sweet cafes, galleries, and fabulous restaurants, and don't forget to pick up an ice cream from Jelberts in Newlyn, one of the oldest ice cream-makers in the county!
If you enjoy walking, the Cornish coast path is simply unforgettable, with its hidden coves and dreamy views. And don't miss at day out in St Ives - the pretty cobbled streets with their fantastic boutiques, galleries and restaurants offer a wonderful day out anytime of the year.
