This beachy bolthole is fabulous, combining the fun of buckets and spades with art and culture. Porthcurno beach is an oasis of stunning natural beauty with fine soft white sand and turquoise seas.
The Upper Deck is perfectly situated, being both a short walk from the beach at Porthcurno, voted seventh in a recent Sunday Times list of the best beaches in the UK, and a short drive from Sennen Cove, voted fourth on the same list.
This luxurious duplex apartment has an entrance hall and stairs up to the living areas. The master bedroom is on the second floor and is like a secret sanctuary with its king-size bed, fabulous en suite bathroom with a wet-room shower, big bath and its own balcony overlooking the terraced garden. There is also an outside shower-room ideal for washing off after a day surfing on Porthcurno.
Your very own private bridge leads to the raised terraced gardens with a decked barbecue-area, lawns and seating for six. Nothing is amiss; The Upper Deck has a super well-equipped kitchen complete with Nespresso coffee machine, and with three bathrooms and three bedrooms everyone is catered for.
Just above Porthcurno beach is the spectacular Minack Theatre where you can take in a show and experience the 'Theatre Under The Stars'. The Upper Deck is situated near the South West Coast Path, from which it is a lovely walk east to the Logan Rock and Penberth, or west to Porthgwarra and onwards to Lands End. Much of this stunning coastline has been used in the filming of Poldark.
