Centrally situated in the heart of Gerrans village, not far from the church, this pretty traditional cottage is thought to date back to the 17th Century. Tucked in and set back from the road, from which it is sheltered by a hedge, the cottage has its own off-road parking. The beaches, harbour, shops and pubs are all within walking distance. With both a fireplace in the living-room and a wood-burner in the dining-room, this lovely cottage is ideal for breaks at any time of the year. Veronica Cottage also retains lots of its original character and charm from old, including low and sometimes sloping ceilings and turning cottage stairs (please take care).
The cottage has gardens to the front and a quiet and secluded garden to the rear, which is lovely for relaxing and perfect for al fresco dining after a day out exploring. At the bottom of the hill lie the white-washed cottages and tiny harbour of Portscatho. When you want to venture a bit further afield you will find a selection of super beaches and great eateries to choose from as well as the nearby town of Falmouth and Cathedral City of Truro if a bit of retail therapy is required.
