The Old Byre is a single-storey, 19th Century barn converted into a lovely home-from-home with an enclosed garden, bubbling hot tub and close to the shores of Widemouth Bay. Luxuriously furnished, and all the beautiful bedrooms boasting their own en suite, this comfortable house has plenty of space for you all.

Next door to The Granary (2982) and with the owners' sheep and free-range chickens on the farm, as well as their livery yard, you will be delighted by the garden and surrounding countryside. From the doorstep you can walk across farmland (about 20 minutes) to the beach and the South West Coast Path, which leads into Bude. Ideal for exploring all of Cornwall, or popping over the border into Devon, The Old Byre is the perfect place.

The Old Byre at Creathorne Farm is ideally situated to explore all that is unique to Cornwall. The nearest attraction being the stunning sandy, renowned surfing beach of Widemouth Bay. You can walk down to the beach directly from Creathorne Farm over open fields, or if you need to drive the beach is only five minutes' away.

At Widemouth there are two superb sandy beaches with lifeguards on duty during the summer, a couple of fantastic pubs serving good food and restaurants offering wonderful cuisine. The South West Coast Path will lead you straight into Bude over undulating coastline and offers further sandy beaches and an outside sea bathing pool, which is great fun to use.

For colder times, in Bude there is an indoor leisure pool and an indoor play zone and a local go-carting circuit. Bude is the main shopping centre with supermarkets, local shops and various places to eat to suit most palates and budgets. Many sporting activities are available in the area, including golf, squash, tennis, bowls, ten pin bowling, horse riding, putting, surfing, body boarding, sailing and kayaking.

The Old Byre is ideally positioned to explore the many attractions Cornwall and Devon have to offer – from fabulous sandy beaches to the rugged moorland of Bodmin and Dartmoor, with picturesque villages such as Padstow, Clovelly and Boscastle all within easy reach, as are other major attractions such as the world famous Eden Project and further afield Land's End.
