With wonderful sea views from the kitchen/breakfast-room where you will see the ships and fishing boats cross the horizon, this welcoming single level apartment is located only a short walk from the pretty village of Coverack on the Lizard peninsula.
Perfect for a small family or couples, Anchors Rest has been thoughtfully furnished and well-equipped by the Owners who live in the apartment above. Leave the car behind and explore the coastal paths or spend the day relaxing on the local beach, which is sandy at high tide.
In the evening sit a while on the terrace to the front of the property or on the shared balcony above, before wandering into the village for a drink at the pub and a bite to eat. Or why not try the takeaway fish and chips from the Lifeboat restaurant and find a spot on the harbour wall?
Alternatively take a picnic of pasties and Cornish ale, pop a rug under your arm and a jumper round your waist and enjoy the remainder of the day before heading back to the comfortable bed that awaits you. The next day, enjoy breakfast with a sea view whilst planning the day's activities; this unspoilt area offers the visitor pretty villages, coves and the rugged Lizard Point which is only a short drive away, so you can do as little or as much as required.
When it's time for light refreshment or a Cornish cream tea, stop for a visit at Roskilly's Farm which is just up the road and taste one of their delicious ice creams, fudges or yoghurts, but you have been warned, you may just get hooked!
