This stunning area of north Devon is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, boasting a blend of special landscapes, wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. Medley's Cottage is found down an unmade lane, one of five converted barns nestling close to Winsford Walled Garden. Medley's Cottage is ideal for two or four, with ample room for all. With views over the lake, for rest and relaxation, you could not wish for a more peaceful destination, with only the sound of song birds and the hum of bees enjoying the beautiful grounds. If you're lucky you will see the local barn owl, or kingfisher on the lake.

At night, with no light pollution, you will be able to see constellations of stars and planets to take your breath away. During the day, a floor to ceiling window beckons you to stand and gaze down to the lake, embracing the peace and quiet. Locally, there are many good restaurants and pubs and really the seaside is not that far away. The Owners, who live on site, encourage guests to enjoy the stunning 18 acres of grounds with the summer-house by the lake, the rowing boat and the many woodland paths.
