Warleggan (twinned with Narnia according to the village sign) is a magical Cornish village deep in a wooded valley, yet within easy distance of the south and north coasts. Welltown is an idyllic spot – 12 acres of woods, meadows, streams and little secret places to explore. The cottage, which adjoins the Owners’ home, is quite private with its own lovely garden and far reaching views. Furnished and decorated with flair, it is quite delightful and very comfortable. One of the bedrooms has French doors out to its own little deck, and sitting in the garden to catch the best views is a bubbling hot tub. Where better to relax after a day out and soak up the peace and quiet?

Welltown is the perfect location for exploring the entire county, however we think you will be so taken with this gorgeous part of the world that you may just kick back, relax and enjoy the tranquility. For the wildlife lovers amongst you there are so many things to see; deer, foxes and an amazing variety of wild birds. A short drive will take you to the coast, both north and south, and of course the Eden Project is not far and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must see. The cottage itself has been beautifully restored with oak-flooring, some beams and slate-floors together with deep, soft sofas and chairs in the open plan living-room, which features Sky TV with sports and film packages - ideal for movie nights. There is a well-fitted kitchen including a large Smeg fridge/freezer and a stylish coffee machine. Downstairs you will find a shower-room and upstairs are two very charming bedrooms, as well as another bathroom with a particularly impressive claw-foot bath. Grab the chance to have a soak, perhaps with lots of bubbles both in the bath and in a glass – you can enjoy the view from here too. This is a very special place and one we think you will return to again and again.
