As its name suggests, this delightful cottage overlooks the pretty 14th Century church in the quaint village of Germoe and is only a mile from the child-friendly sandy beach at Praa Sands.

Outside there is a choice of either an enclosed courtyard, which is ideal for windy days and to keep toddlers from wandering too far, or the small raised deck at the front of the cottage which is a real sun-trap on a hot summer's day.

With room for your surfboards, wetsuits, bikes and beach gear, a warm welcome is guaranteed for guests of all ages as well as their four-legged friends, Church Cottage could be the perfect Cornish hideaway.

Parts of this deceptively spacious property date back to the 1700s and with two toasty wood-burners to warm you on those cooler evenings, this cosy cottage is perfect for a summer holiday or a short break at any time of the year.

Within a short drive from the cottage you can find many great places to eat serving locally-sourced produce washed down with local brews and juices. The pretty harbour town of Porthleven and the medieval town of Marazion overlooking St Michael's Mount towards Land's End, both offer a choice of eateries depending on what you fancy so stay close to home or venture out to explore this rugged and unspoilt area of Cornwall, there's something for everyone.
