Hendre Cottage, found in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known as the Tamar Valley, is a short distance from Looe, and is a very welcoming dog-friendly cottage part of which sits beneath the Owners’ beautiful home. There are four cottages on this gorgeous rural site, known collectively as Moor2Sea, however Hendre Cottage is very private. All on one level, and the first to be converted, Hendre Cottage has an attractive open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas and a window seat overlooking the garden. It is spacious at the same time as being warm and cosy. The bedroom is very inviting and there is a contemporary shower-room. A large deck to the side has great views of the open paddock full of wildflowers in the summer.

Very well-equipped there is a Smart television, WiFi, fluffy towels and crisp white linen as well as a travel cot and a high chair. Please bring your own beach and dog towels. Two dogs over the age of two are welcome, however please ensure your pets are kept on a lead around the grounds and never left unattended. A Cornish cream tea greets all guests on arrival. There are a number of wonderful restaurants locally and a great village pub, The Rod and Line, serving good food including locally caught fish, crab and meat from the renowned Brays butchers, also in the village – for a night out live bands often play in the pub. For the cyclists and anglers amongst you, there are miles of cycle trails or mountain bike tracks locally, as well as numerous lakes, rivers and sea fishing on the coast. Moor2Sea offers all guests shared secure alarmed facilities in Oscar’s outbuilding for the cleaning and storage of bikes, gutting fish and storage of fishing tackle, golf bags and muddy boots. There is also an extra freezer for that catch of the day!
