Occupying one of the most idyllic spots in Cadgwith and originally built as a capstan house to haul the boats up the beach, Dummers Loft stands just yards from the sea. The large patio with steps directly onto the beach is ideal for sitting and watching the local fishing and boating activity, or for some al fresco dining. In the summer the gentle splash of the waves is about the only sound you will hear, and in the winter months when the Atlantic waves are lashing the rocks outside, you can stay warm and dry around the cosy wood-burner. With the most incredible views from this breathtaking location, this very special and traditional cottage could be your perfect holiday haven.
Located on the Lizard peninsula, Cadgwith is a tiny fishing village forgotten by the 21st Century and the area offers the most spectacular scenery which can be truly enjoyed by walking the South West Coast Path. To the summer visitor, arriving on a sunny day, Cadgwith seems everything that a Cornish fishing village should be and is one of those rare places where time has almost stood still. With a local pub, restaurant, crab shop, cafe and gift shop in the cove and only a short drive to the town of Helston with larger shops and supermarkets, Cadgwith offers you the best of the real Cornwall.
