The Upper 18 is a charming terraced cottage with fabulous views hunkered above this bustling fishing port. Formerly a fisherman's cottage and overlooking Newlyn, it offers views to Mount's Bay from the pretty south-facing terrace. Estate Tweed sofas, an original tile floor and a roaring wood-burner welcome you into the cosy sitting-room, just the place to relax after a busy day exploring and only three steps up from the spacious well-equipped kitchen. Steep cottage stairs lead to the first floor with two characterful double bedrooms and the bathroom.
Newlyn is a popular working port, well-known for its fish festival (August bank holiday) and art school, and there are a good variety of local shops, cafes and restaurants in the town.
