Finley Airstream

1.7 miles SE of St Agnes / Sleeps 4 (no children under 2)

7 Nights from £366 - £795

For a shiny, happy holiday, look no further than Finley Airstream, a bullet-shaped retro aluminium caravan fully-refitted for the ultimate in style and comfort.

The larger of the two Airstreams on site, Finley is a dream inside, including a banquette seating area at one end with flat-screen TV/DVD player, iPod dock and DAB radio, a custom-fitted galley kitchen (complete with Smeg fridge) and an en suite compact shower-room with hot shower, wash-basin and proper flushing toilet (and a hair-dryer). Opposite are the funky pod bunks for children and at the far end is the romantic and cosy double bedroom. Cleverly thought through to the very last detail (there is even under-floor heating), this is the ideal place for chilling out, star gazing and simply putting a smile on your face.

Finley sits in his large, private, decked area, overlooking a pretty meadow, home to the Owners' three horses and cheeky pony, and the countryside beyond. There's a large patio table for you to use, with lanterns for evening dining and, to protect you from either sun or rain, you can pull out the airstream's original, full-length awning.

In the kitchen, as well as the Smeg fridge, you will also find a full-size electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and half-size ironing board, while there is cupboard space throughout for storage. Between Finley and Poppy, his little sister, is an outhouse with a shared washing machine and freezer, as well as room to store surfboards, wetsuits and any other beach or walking gear. Speaking of which, the surfing beaches of north Cornwall are nearby (Trevaunance Cove, Chapel Porth, Perranporth and Porthtown to name just a few).

Less than two miles away, St Agnes has handy shops, a butcher, chemist, post office and plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. For bigger shops, the Cathedral City of Truro isn't far, and why not venture to the arty towns of Falmouth and St Ives too.

Or, if you would prefer to leave the car behind, the coastal paths and cycle routes in the area are absolutely stunning and, for nearby eating out, The Mithian Arms serves scrumptious food and is only a 15 minute stroll away. All in all, this is a must-go destination for trailer romantics, couples, surfing dudes and young families alike.
