Stancombe Manor is an old estate of some 20 acres in a particularly lovely part of south Devon. Approached by narrow lanes, the estate has an old Georgian Manor House and a selection of cottages and barns. Bluebell is one such property, a ground floor single-storey WiFi enabled apartment, with an open plan living-room including a dining-area and galley kitchen; although there is no oven, a combination microwave and an electric hob are provided. There is also a very pretty bedroom with a surprisingly spacious en suite bathroom. A great property for a couple wanting to explore the South Hams, Bluebell is very welcoming. To add to its charm, the estate has many leisure facilities including a heated indoor pool, sauna, snooker-room, indoor games/playroom, pitch and putt and lovely grounds to explore. The nearby village of Frogmore has a great shop/bakery renowned locally for its pastries and fresh bread. Kingsbridge is a lovely little town and well worth exploring with its many independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The Owner welcomes well-behaved dogs and there are some gorgeous walks on the nearby coastal path. The nature reserve at Slapton Ley is just down the road for the twitchers amongst you and the beaches, some shingle and some sand, run all along this part of the coast from Dartmouth to Start Point and on and on down to the far west. This is a great place for a great holiday.
