A wonderful beach, an excellent pub, a popular cafe and the spectacular South West Coast Path all on your doorstep, The Hideaway is the ideal retreat situated on the edge of the unspoilt village of Perranuthnoe. This quirky 'hobbit' style accommodation is fully kitted out for a luxury glamping holiday with comfortable beds, en suite facilities and even a washing machine!
Situated 150 yards up a winding unmade track and tucked away, as the name suggests, in a secret little pocket of a meadow, there is ample space to relax and soak up the peace and quiet of the countryside. A handy decked-area opens into the kitchen which is equipped with a two-ring hob, mini oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle and leads into the central dining-area – the bedroom areas and en suite shower-room are offset to the three sides. The Hideaway is fully insulated and a further electric heater is provided to top up the warmth on those chillier evenings.
The owners have a small enclosed meadow next door to The Hideaway which you are welcome to use, a great place for the children with plenty of space to play safely. Another meadow just around the corner has the most fantastic sea views taking in the majestic St Michael's Mount, an absolute must for a sunset barbecue. It's just a few minutes' walk to the pub and cafe a little further on and just a five minute walk to the fabulous beach, this really is the place to enjoy a seaside glamping holiday to remember. There are also some outstanding beaches within a five minute drive – Prussia Cove and Praa Sands in one direction and Marazion and Long Rock in the other.
A 10 minute drive leads to the seaside town of Penzance or the delightful fishing village of Porthleven, and you can be discovering your inner artist in St Ives in 20 minutes. However, you may just want to park your car at the start of your holiday and not get back in until it is time to say goodbye.
