What a magical name and what a magical house. One Puddle is found in a pretty valley with its own adjoining water meadow, stream and wild natural wood to explore. Facing south above the lovely gardens is a sunny conservatory with an adjoining patio. The Owner has a real flair for colour and design and One Puddle is a charming mix of old and new, with some original slate and granite floors and the odd step up and down from room to room. The large sunny kitchen/diner has all mod-cons and a rather striking dresser, and even the utility-room boasts an old granite trough. There are two sitting-rooms, both with open fires, one has a television and DVD player and leads out to the conservatory, and the other is more of a quiet room with a lovely sofa covered in some rather gorgeous Italian fabric. The study, which doubles as a single bedroom, is on the ground floor, as is a very modern and stylish wet-room. Up the narrow wooden stairs are five further bedrooms, one en suite, as well as the lovely family bathroom. Each room has a different theme and some really stunning wallpapers and fabrics.
