This period Dorset cottage is a short walk uphill from the seafront, in the heart of historic Lyme Regis, on a spectacular stretch of the Jurassic Coast. Enjoying a quiet pedestrian setting in a steep little lane off the top of the high street, this delightful terraced cottage is welcoming and comfortable. Furnished and decorated with a seaside theme throughout, the lovely open plan ground floor has a real fire – perfect for out-of-season breaks – and steep cottage stairs up to the two bedrooms and family bathroom. The little courtyard has views across the town, with a neighbour’s right of way across it, though seldom-used. Parking is in the nearby public car park (a season ticket is provided).

31 Sherborne Lane offers guests ample activities from just outside its door. Stroll along the promenade to the famous Cobb and harbour, enjoy the lovely beach, go fossil hunting, climb the South West Coast Path or take a boat trip across Lyme Bay. Inland, visit Bridport which has two seasonal markets each week and plenty of interesting shops to explore and cafes to treat yourselves in. The energetic can follow the coastal path beyond Charmouth and all the way to the iconic Golden Cap – one of Dorset's most famous landmarks.
