Located mid-way between the delightful villages of Tintagel and Boscastle and with the most wonderful views across the countryside and out to sea, Driftwood is the prefect retreat for two. Small, but oh so perfectly formed, this charming bolthole nestles next to the Owners' beautiful New England style home. It is all on one level apart from the garden steps leading to the sunny patio, which has arguably the best seat in the house giving every opportunity to soak up those stunning views. The accommodation includes full under-floor heating, an en suite twin bedroom and tranquil surroundings. With local cliff walks that are some of the best that Cornwall has to offer, fabulous golden sandy beaches all within easy access and charming coastal towns and villages to explore, you are sure to have a relaxing, carefree holiday at Driftwood.

From a walk along the wooded valleys to see the waterfalls at St Nectan's Glen, to taking the path to Rocky Valley or marvelling at the magnificent views over the bay at Bossiney, be sure to pack your walking boots as there is an abundance of great walks waiting to be discovered. Nearby Tintagel is stacked full of Arthurian legend and a trip to the castle is a must, as is a wander through the pretty village of Boscastle with its picturesque harbour, clusters of pretty painted cottages that are interspersed with cafes and shops. The beaches at Trebarwith and Polzeath are quite stunning and are sure to tempt you to dip your toes in the water or, if you are feeling a little more adventurous, maybe join the local surf school and learn to ride the waves. If you want to take things at a gentler pace the historic houses and gardens at Pencarrow and Lanhydrock will not disappoint and for a little bit of fun on two wheels, why not hire a bicycle and take the renowned Camel Trail that winds its way along the Camel estuary out to Padstow.
