Leafy lanes lead to Meadows, a gorgeous holiday cottage set in the beautiful Cornish countryside, only two miles from the charming south Cornish coast. This property is perfect for family, friends or couples looking for a base that offers the best of what Cornwall and Devon has to offer.

The open plan living-room is the sociable hub of the house, where floor to ceiling windows frame endless countryside views, and allow light to flood in. The toasty wood-burner makes this a perfect retreat whatever the weather, so if you are after a much needed spring break away, a lazy summer holiday or a winter escape, treat yourself to a holiday at Meadows.

Two bedrooms – one en suite – and a fully appointed bathroom are on the ground floor while a third huge bedroom upstairs has its own en suite shower-room and separate sitting and dressing areas (this floor is not available at the discounted rate).

The terrace provides the ideal spot to soak up more of those countryside views, and invites you to linger a little longer over lazy holiday meals, al fresco style.

Set in the tiny hamlet of Treyone, this is such a wonderful holiday location with many delightful destinations nearby. Just a couple of miles away are the beaches of Downderry and Seaton, while the inspiring gardens, parkland walks and forest trails await at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. The spectacular South West Coast Path will delight even the less enthusiastic of ramblers, with stunning sea vistas to marvel around every headland. Why not get down with the locals, and try your hand at surfing – if you've never done it before, you can book at lesson at the Adventure Bay Surf School.

The charming twin coastal villages of Cawsand and Kingsand with their narrow streets, jumbled cottages, pubs and shops are delightful. Head to the traditional seaside town of Looe to join a fishing trip, have fun at the seaside or simply indulge in some scrummy fish and chips. From Looe, take the coastal path to picture perfect Polperro; an unspoilt fishing village that has inspired artists for centuries. A little further along the coast, the stylish sailing town of Fowey is well worth a visit.

For maritime history, the city of Plymouth has it by the bucketful! Wander the historic Barbican, see Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played his infamous game of bowls, or dine at one of the many places to eat and drink at the city's latest hotspot destination; The Royal William Yard. For a complete contrast in scenery, both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are within easy reach. Here you can discover wide open landscapes with granite tors that, in places, defy gravity, with many a welcoming moorland village pub to refuel along the way.

Meadows can be booked by four or less people at a discounted rate using the ground floor only, making it perfect for those with limited mobility.
