TwinWhat a house – and what a view! There are indeed spectacular views from Spring Tide, one of a pair of contemporary properties, built to a very high specification, in the village of Bigbury-on-Sea.
The first floor living-room has floor to ceiling glass doors and a balcony to make the most of the wonderful vista. With an up-to-the-minute kitchen, wood floors, under-floor heating (partly provided by solar panels) and stylish modern furnishings, this is a house where you can kick back, relax and really enjoy yourselves.
Spring Tide has a terraced back garden as well as the first floor balcony, and provides a perfect bolthole for family or friends wishing to explore this well-loved area. Even the ground floor bedroom has a wooden terrace from which you can sit and enjoy the morning sun. Your location can be enjoyed from almost every angle of the house.
Bigbury-on-Sea has a renowned sandy beach 300 yards away and a causeway, revealed at low tide, that leads to Burgh Island. The Avon estuary meets the sea here and the glorious coastline stretches for miles in both directions – so remember the wetsuits and surfboards!
The village has a popular hotel bar within walking distance, and Kingsbridge is a short drive away and has a market several days each week as well as interesting local shops.
