An extremely quiet rural retreat, where horses rather than cars pass down the lane outside, Lower Cadwin Cottage is tucked away just a mile outside the village of Lanivet – geographically practically in the centre of Cornwall, which makes this an ideal base for exploring all that this wonderful county has to offer.
Pretty as a picture with roses around the door, a stable-door opens into the open plan sitting-room which is warmed by a wood-burner. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner and also the bathroom downstairs. Upstairs you will find two pretty bedrooms, full of character with their low beams.
In front of the cottage the small enclosed garden has a sunny, south-facing seating-area – a lovely spot for morning coffee or supper on a balmy summer evening. The owner, who lives next door, has a smallholding and her chickens roam freely – all part of country life!
