Lottie’s Loft is a luxurious first floor barn conversion, a gorgeous bolthole surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside. Exterior steps lead from the decking to a balcony with bespoke tri-fold doors that truly celebrate the panoramic views and allow sunlight to flood into the sitting-area.
The gorgeous, welcoming interior has surround-sound throughout, a stylish designer kitchen, sumptuous bedroom and shower-room. The wood-burner adds character, making this a great all year round retreat.
Lottie's Loft and Phoebes House (2924) are two delightful properties, set deep in Dorset's beautiful countryside, and are the ultimate rural retreats! To set the scene, a long, unmade farm track leads to West Farm, where the owners live and run a hardwood log business (so you will never be short of logs for your wood-burning stove and where great care is taken to ensure that the operation of the business does not impact on guests) – but you will feel very private as the cottages have been designed to the highest standard with guests' comfort in mind. You will be able to enjoy a sheltered decked sitting-out area on the ground floor as well as on the balcony at the front of Lottie's Loft – for the most amazing panoramic countryside views right across the valley. Phoebes House is situated across the other side of the farm completely separate with its own outside areas. Guests can book both properties at the same time – ask our Booking Office for details.
Out and about, this area is rich with pretty villages, and there are numerous historic walking routes such as The Monarch’s Way, and the spectacular Jurassic Coast stretching to either side of Lyme Regis.
The harbour at West Bay is an easy drive due south from Mosterton, via Beaminster and Bridport – both also well worth a visit. Bridport has weekly markets which are such fun to browse in, and several tempting cafes to try!
