Just outside the village of Kingston, semi-detached Hooppells Barn is within striking distance of the secluded beach at Wonwell. Within an enclosed garden, you enter straight into the kitchen/diner with its cream tiled floor, duck-egg blue kitchen units and large dining-table. Also downstairs are a television-room, utility-room and a cloakroom. Wooden stairs lead up to the sitting-room with a high-vaulted ceiling, wood-burner and comfortable sofas. The four pretty bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, are all on the first floor as is a family bathroom. The small studio next door is unoccupied so guests have the whole garden to themselves. Outside, free-range chickens roam the Owners' paddock and vegetable plot (neither of which are available to guests) on the far side of the parking-area.
Offering extra flexibility for the seven guests the cottage accommodates, the single room has an additional pull-out bed, although space is limited. There is a local pub within walking distance of Hooppells Barn, and the bustling town of Kingsbridge is close by. There are so many beaches to visit, and so much else to see and do in this beautiful area, that you really will be spoilt for choice as to where to spend each day.
