With sea views over the entrance to the Salcombe Estuary and South Sands, Moult Sylvan is a spacious, comfortable property tucked away in a terraced garden with access to lovely walks to South and North Sands beaches, Salcombe itself and out to Bolt Head (a steeper climb back). You might prefer to sit on the sheltered terrace with a glass of something to hand and admire the views (see photograph). Both the sitting-room and dining-room have sea views, as does the first floor master bedroom with its own balcony. There is a well-equipped kitchen (the Aga Thermic is available October to March), a double bedroom and a step to the bathroom on the ground floor. A spiral staircase leads up to the master double and a smaller twin (the beds are end to end under the eaves – mind your heads!). Salcombe and this wonderful part of Devon have something for everyone; beaches, watersports, fishing trips, rural and coastal walks, good restaurants and cafes – a real holiday treat. Please note, the house is unsuitable for children under five.
