Dartmouth is well-known for its attractive riverside setting and the Britannia Royal Naval College. The river is full of craft and the town has plenty to offer; good restaurants, pubs, galleries and interesting shops. One of a terrace on the town’s edge, Chindit Cottage was named in tribute to the previous Owner, who served with the Chindits in Burma in World War II.

Inside is lovely, with a very comfortable sitting/dining-room and a spacious well-equipped kitchen. A seat outside the front door is perfect for enjoying the view, and to the rear is a terraced patio garden.
