The utility-room on the ground floor has space for bikes too.
The games-room offers pool, snooker and darts - as well as a bar!
After a short stretch of farm track you come into the farmyard via the gate you can see in this photograph.
The steps are adorned with beautiful hanging baskets - there is some lovely planting around the little pond too.

There is easy access from Westlake Barn along the North Devon Link Road to the amazing north Devon beaches.

Westlake Barn is in a lovely rural setting, within easy reach of the popular market town of Dulverton – the gateway to Exmoor – as well as the wide sandy surfing beaches of north Devon, offering real variety for great days out. This traditional farm building has been thoughtfully renovated as a top quality holiday base, with its own sheltered and very private enclosed garden to the rear, at the top end of the original farmstead for Westlake House, the Owners' home. The first floor accommodation offers a touch of luxury with a high specification, contemporary design, a sleek well-equipped kitchen, large open plan living area, full under-floor heating throughout, two en suite bedrooms and below, a games-room with a bar!

The barn is approached along a short length of farm track, which is shared with the existing working farm here. A flight of external steps lead up from the parking-area to the open plan living space where a high beamed ceiling creates a light-filled but characterful social space at the heart of the property. Dogs are very welcome here and there are plenty of local walks and, of course, Exmoor National Park just a few miles away with all the open space you could want. Out-of-season the north Devon beaches are fabulous places for exhilarating walks, whatever the time of year, and the North Devon Link Road offers an easy route straight up to the coast.
