Kingbeare House, dating back over 250 years, is set in the beautiful Tamar Valley where the River Tamar forms the Devon/Cornwall border. The house boasts original slate floors, two staircases (one rather narrow), a farmhouse-style kitchen with a Heritage range (similar to an Aga; the main cooking appliance) and a dining-room next door. The lovely sitting-room has a wood-burner and bright contemporary furnishings, there is a snug/children’s room and a twin bedroom and shower-room on the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs, one with a child’s bed suitable for children up to nine years. There is an attractive garden and the house is ideally located for exploring both north and south coasts, as well as moorland walks close by. Please note there is no access at any time to the meadows and lakes beyond the house. There is a private water supply, tested regularly.
