2406 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Penpont Lodge, how about trying these:
The village of Altarnun is Grade II Listed and is renowned for its beautiful old church with some wonderful carved pews and an ancient stone font. Penpont Lodge is the end of a small terrace with the mill leat burbling its way down past the front door. Inside the spacious cottage, the delightful sitting-room has a warming multi-burner set in the old inglenook fireplace. The slate flooring leads through to the dining-room and around the corner to the well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs (take care with the steps on the landing) are two pretty bedrooms with lovely blinds and crisp attractive bed linen, as well as a contemporary bathroom. Outside the back door is a pretty patio looking over fields. The north Cornish coast needs no introduction and numerous hot spots are within a short drive. Guests can explore all of Cornwall from here, knowing a warm, welcoming cottage awaits their return. Please note this cottage is not suitable for babies or children under 14.
