With spectacular views towards Mount’s Bay, Gweal Brooth is a large, traditional Cornish farmhouse just one mile from Praa Sands’ child-friendly beach. Set back from the main road behind its enclosed garden, this spacious detached house has no near neighbours and is ideal for large families, the small snooker table and table-tennis offering hours of friendly rivalry for all ages whatever the weather. The large sitting-room with wood-burner has comfortable sofas, doors onto the raised terrace and plenty of room to relax, read a book or enjoy the wonderful sea views.

The large conservatory is another great spot to sit and admire the views and also opens onto the raised terrace and front garden, and the dining-room’s big farmhouse table has more than enough room for everyone, making this the convivial heart of the house. Upstairs are six bedrooms, four of which have glorious sea views – including the two doubles. Outside the kitchen the enclosed rear courtyard gives access to the outhouse where the table-tennis table is situated, and to a fabulous wet-room – ideal for rinsing off after visits to the beach. This hugely spacious house has plenty of space for friends and family to spread out, and has a wonderfully welcoming, informal and relaxed atmosphere. The house is always warm inside, and in the summer months of June, July and August the Aga is usually turned off as it gets too hot – but don't worry, the Owner lives locally and is on hand to turn it on again should there be a sudden cold snap!
