This lovely semi-detached Victorian village cottage is a harmonious mix of old and new, updated to provide enchanting and unexpected features. A wall of windows at the rear of the open plan ground floor frames a view of the facing valley, and a Victorian-style cast iron spiral staircase leads up to a south-facing sitting-area where you can relax and read a book. The large breakfast kitchen has a lantern light which, together with softly painted units, slate flooring, a range cooker and American-style fridge/freezer, shows the quality of the cottage. The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens and the sailing town of St Mawes are all easily reached, making Buttercup Cottage perfect for exploring near and far.
