Harvesters Keep is a gorgeous barn conversion set in a wonderfully tranquil location with fabulous far reaching views over rolling countryside. Just ten minutes' drive from the pretty Cathedral City of Truro, the central location gives easy access to both coasts with magnificent surfing beaches at Perranporth and Newquay to the north and the beautiful creeks and calm sandy beaches of the Roseland peninsula to the south. With a spacious open plan living-room downstairs and three lovely bedrooms (one en suite) upstairs, Harvesters Keep is perfect for families and children will love meeting Truffle the family Labrador and Jilly and Bear the ponies, who all live happily with the Owners and their children on this family-run farm.

Harvesters Keep has been lovingly converted into a wonderfully contemporary holiday home. Gorgeous fabrics, lovely linens and quality furnishings throughout the cottage show the high level of attention given to its presentation. The impressively large living-room has floor-length windows looking out towards the tranquil countryside views on either side of the toasty warm wood-burner, making the cottage an ideal place to holiday at any time of year. The fully fitted kitchen has plenty of space for preparing delicious holiday feasts with wonderful local food (there is a great farm shop in nearby Probus). Lights hang low over the dining-table encouraging you to linger over meals and chat about your day's adventures. Upstairs, the two big bedrooms have plenty of space to spread, with the master bedroom enjoying an en suite shower-room and wonderful views from the Juliet balcony. Bedroom 2 has 'zip and link' (6' double or twin) beds offering flexible accommodation and the single bedroom allows privacy for a teenager or older relative. There is a sun-trap south-facing patio outside, with a big lawn for children to play on. Guinea fowl wander freely, their tiny chirping calls a delight to hear. This is a wonderfully relaxing and superbly comfortable holiday cottage and with Shepherd's Crook (2210) next door, larger families or groups of friends can easily holiday together. With three generations of this traditional farming family on site, there is usually someone to show you around and introduce you to the animals and in springtime children can often help feed the lambs. There is easy access to good roads so exploring both coasts and the far reaches of the county is a doddle and coming back to this lovely setting at the end of every day will be a delight.
