This charming Cornish cottage is positioned in idyllic countryside with wonderful views over the Cornish coast and offers the perfect escape to recharge and reset from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

The beautiful and cosy living-area has a roaring fire to keep you warm in the winter, and the large patio doors let in the cool air and light during the summer months.

From the private patio, you can listen to the birdsong whilst admiring the dramatic views of the Atlantic coastline.

There are three traditional bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, providing a place to lay your heads at the end of an enjoyable day. Each room has been decorated to a high level with a subtle nod to your coastal surroundings.

Lanes Cottage is situated in beautiful St Gennys, surrounded by National Trust land and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying glorious unspoilt views to the sea, across to Lundy Island and along the Cornish coastline to Bude and beyond, sheltering on the cliffside the enclosed garden has stunning views out to sea.

For walkers, winding cliff paths lead through unspoilt countryside and valleys that are part of the Heritage Coast and protected by the National Trust. The cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven are close by offering excellent cafes, pubs and quaint shops. Surfers can enjoy the waves at many of the north coast beaches, whilst nearby are the bustling town of Bude and the sandy shores of Widemouth Bay.

Bikes and surfboards can be locked away safely, and there is a shared outdoor hot water shower for washing off the sand after visits to the beach.
