Seashells is in the award-winning Nautilus seafront development at Westward Ho!. Situated close to two of north Devon’s prettiest fishing villages, Appledore and Instow, Westward Ho! boasts two wonderful miles of Blue Flag awarded beach across the estuary from the World Heritage Braunton Burrows; add great surfing and spectacular coastal walks, and you have the perfect year-round resort!

Overlooking the promenade and divided over two floors, Seashells offers stunning views, contemporary living that includes a full HD 4K television, wave-shaped ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. The first floor's master bedroom has sea views from the super-king bed and balcony. A second staircase leads to the open plan living-room, where another balcony enjoys equally fabulous views across the water to Lundy Island.

Seashells is guaranteed to be an excellent holiday base to suit all ages and interests. There is an award-winning tea shop, a fantastic sea view restaurant and seafront gardens further along the promenade to the left of the Nautilus Building, and the Blue Flag beach with its traditional seaside gift shops and arcades is just to the right.

The town has a range of pubs, shops and a lovely sweet and ice cream shop for children to enjoy. For the more energetic there is a wonderful surfing beach here – north Devon’s surfing beaches are just as good as Cornwall’s – and if you have not tried this exhilarating sport before, there is a surf school with equipment hire just around the corner. Kite flying is a regular colourful sight at Westward Ho! with a national competition each year. The area is a BT Fon spot for registered BT Fon Broadband users.

This is a lovely apartment whatever the time of year. A great traditional summer base and out-of-season a really snug place to storm watch or to return to after braving the elements for a truly invigorating walk along the beach.
