A comfortable and welcoming property set in a tranquil rural location perfectly placed to explore all of Cornwall. With the bustling city of Truro only a ten minute drive away and the large sandy beaches, seaside resorts and the coast path of St Agnes, Perranporth and many others all within an easy drive; this makes for the ideal location to relax after a day out and about.

Swallows Nest offers spacious accommodation for couples who love the countryside, making the most of the fabulous views this upside-down property has large windows overlooking the beautiful vista. Upstairs is the light and airy open plan living space with plenty of seating for two, relax with a good book at the end of the day with large windows to open in the summer months or flick on the electric wood-burner for those cosy nights in. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for a Cornish feast and there is a little breakfast table for two, if you don't fancy cooking there are many yummy places to eat in nearby Truro.

The bedroom and shower-room are on the ground floor which is handy for unloading the car; the spacious bedroom has plenty of room for a cot if you wanted to bring your little one along for the adventure or lots of room to bring plenty of outfits along. The shower-room is ideally located after coming in from the beach. There is also a large utility space on the ground floor which is great for all your holiday clobber such as walking boots, wetsuits and such likes.

Outside there is a charming lawned garden to enjoy, this also has a tranquil outlook over the fields, sit quiet for a few moments to enjoy the wildlife and listen to the bird song which is so restorative. The cottage is semi-detached from the hospitable but unobtrusive owners next door, who welcome you in then leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday. Seasonal organic vegetables, eggs and honey are available at the end of the lane (from a property called Gipsy Park but in reality just a small holding!) and the small village of Shortlanesend is just down the road, with a village shop and a pub offering traditional food.
