Surrounded by 40 acres of farmland where Dexter cattle and Shetland sheep graze, the little stream running across the land a tiny tributary of the Helford River, Little Trebarvah is a sensitively converted 18th Century barn enjoying lovely rural views towards the distant sea at Porthleven and, on a clear day, the Lizard peninsula’s dramatic coastline. The Grade II Listed farm follows organic principles, with delicious beef available. Inside this delightful semi-detached cottage, which adjoins a small property occasionally used by friends, the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs while the contemporary living-room upstairs includes a Smart television and a wood-burner. Outside, the laundry-room provides ample storage for bikes and the south-facing enclosed garden is perfect for evening barbecues.

From this lovely cottage you can easily access the wonderful scenery and estuaries around the pretty Helford River and explore the craggy coves and spectacular sites of the Lizard peninsula. With pretty gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan, the town of Falmouth and Cathedral City of Truro also only a short drive away, and a wide choice of places to eat serving locally sourced produce, a visit to Little Trebarvah opens up the sights, sounds and tastes of this wonderful part of Cornwall.
