Amidst lovely unspoilt countryside, approached by narrow lanes, is Woodcutters Barn. Although built in the past 15 years, it has the feeling of a bygone age, with lots of seasoned oak throughout. The spacious living-room has a wood-burner and is very comfortably furnished, with deep leather sofas and a lovely dresser. The two bedrooms each have their own bathroom or shower-room, and one has a door to a small deck looking over the garden – a haven of peace and quiet, with only birdsong to be heard. The Owners’ other holiday cottage and the property’s Housekeeper are elsewhere on the five acre site, as are four showman’s caravans – all within their own plots, so you will be quite private.
Both the north and south Cornish coasts are within easy driving distance of Woodcutters Barn, and there is a good gastro-pub just down the road. What more could one want? This is perfect for a truly relaxing, memorable holiday.
