This stylish ground floor apartment, in the award-winning Nautilus seafront development, looks straight out to sea. The open plan living room has a sleek kitchen, huge windows to take advantage of the view (and the sunsets), and opens onto a small open fronted patio facing the promenade. The quiet, spacious bedroom at the back of the apartment follows the curve of the building, and although just two adults are accommodated, there is a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room for flexibility. Westward Ho! has a super surfing blue flag beach and Sundowner is just a stroll away from the cafes, shops and popular restaurants of this thriving seaside town. Cross the seafront road, in front of the apartment, and you will be straight on the promenade, which is perfect for strolling and taking in the holiday atmosphere. There is also a lovely pub/restaurant at the far end of the promenade.

The Nautilus Building is one of a small number of striking architect designed apartment buildings in prime positions on the seafront at Westward Ho!. The apartments are stylish and contemporary and Sundowner is no exception. Guests here also have the benefit of secure private parking – an electronic fob for the gates is provided for use during your stay. Ideally placed to make the most of the north Devon coast, there are endless sandy beaches between here and Woolacombe, great surfing, rocky coves and spectacular sunsets, and Sundowner is perfect for enjoying them all. If you want to explore further afield, try unique Lundy Island – you can make it out on the horizon on a clear day – by boat from Bideford Quay. This protected island is home to a wonderful display of sea birds. Further along the coast, Clovelly is an historic fishing village clinging to the cliffs with steep cobbled paths leading all the way down to the harbour.
