In an idyllic location with magnificent sea views, Man o' War stands peacefully on the cliffside overlooking Cadgwith, one of the most picturesque coves in Cornwall. Approached along a footpath linking the coastal path to the village, this detached, Grade II Listed cottage has characterful terracotta floors throughout the ground floor, while the Gothic-style alcove doors in the sitting-room complement its appealing beamed ceilings, wood panelling, open fireplace and window-seat. The farmhouse-style kitchen is ideal for lingering over family meals, and upstairs are two double bedrooms, both with their original decorative fireplaces, and two single rooms. To the front of the cottage, relax in one of the garden chairs and admire the view – it doesn't get much better than this!
If it's sea views you desire, look no further than Man o' War. Whether from the fully enclosed front garden (breathtaking), the large dining-table (spectacular) or one of the two double bedrooms (fabulous), the scenery here never fails to impress. Access from the Cadgwith road to the quarry car park is via a short steep tarmac slope, then a walk of about 75 yards along the footpath leads you to your reward: need we say it...the most stunningly beautiful view!

The sitting-room has comfy chairs and sofas around a cosy open fire and fabulous views.
Both double bedrooms have stunning views over the garden to the cove below.
The two double bedrooms still have their original fireplaces, nowadays purely ornamental.
Set high up above the beach, Man o' War is the middle of the three cottages in view.
The attractive kitchen has a farmhouse-style dining-table and views over the cove.
The double bedrooms both have views over the cove.
This double bedroom is next to the bathroom.
Crisp white linens on the beds and fresh fluffy towels.
The pretty single bedroom is at the back of the cottage.
The bathroom is on the first floor.
The second single bedroom.
The stairs rise up from the sitting-room to the bedrooms with a split level landing at the top.
The ground floor shower-room is a great space for washing off after the beach and somewhere to leave the beach gear and the cloakroom is just up the hall by the front door.
Looking back towards Cadgwith from a few yards further along the coastal footpath from Man o' War.
What a view across the cove from the coast path.
The steep, narrow approach to the car parking-area must be negotiated slowly and with care.
Two small cars may park one behind the other, but please take care not to obstruct the neighbours' parking spaces.
From the car park, Man o' War is about 75 yards along the footpath.
The footpath to the cottage. (Man o' War's front garden wall is in the middle of the photograph, just beyond the thatched cottage on the left.)
The spectacular view as you ascend the footpath to the cottage.
As well as the front garden you have a secret space hidden to the side of the cottage, just follow the path and up the steps......
The pub is only a few minutes' walk from the cottage.
This pretty village may be small but you have a choice of eateries and local fish shops should you prefer to cook at home.
Simply spend time watching the fishermen come and go....
The views are really quite spectacular.
