With breathtaking views across the waters of the Carrick Roads to Flushing and the Roseland peninsula beyond, and just yards from Falmouth's bustling streets and their many shops, restaurants and pubs, could there be a better location? Fully justifying its name, Water's Edge is an impressively appointed modern terraced town house sitting right on the waterfront where the Penryn River joins the sea. The unfenced terrace has steps to the water, a davit for launching dinghies, and a patio-area shielded by mature shrubs, a wonderful place for sunny breakfasts or evening drinks while watching the multitude of boats out on the water. Small children need to be supervised here but an enclosed courtyard at the rear is safe for play.

Situated close to the Prince of Wales Pier, where ferries sail to St Mawes, Truro and the Helford River, this small tucked away terrace is surprisingly quiet although right in the heart of Falmouth. Inside Water's Edge, the well-equipped kitchen/diner opens onto the waterside terrace, perfect for outdoor dining. One double bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor while the main sitting-room is on the first floor, taking advantage of the views; hours can be idled away watching the comings and goings on the water. A second sitting-room is equipped with another television, DVD player, books and games, perfect for children. Upstairs on the second floor, the large master bedroom enjoys fantastic water views, and shares the family bathroom and separate cloakroom with the twin bedroom. Please note the additional parking space is half a mile away, elevated above the town – the walk back to the apartment is much shorter (about a quarter of a mile) and downhill.
