7 Nights from £416 - £1140

This modern, light-filled property is set in the private Maenporth Estate and is only a short stroll away from the pretty sandy cove – ideal for a cooling dip or rock pooling at low tide – as well as a fabulous restaurant and beach cafe, what more could you ask for! The property also benefits from the great facilities of the private estate which include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts and children's play-area, all set in the beautifully landscaped, woodland grounds where squirrels play and even the occasional deer can be spotted.

Single-storey Beach Walk is tucked away in the corner of a small terrace; with high ceilings comfortable sofas and chunky wooden furniture it is perfect for families and friends alike. The bedrooms and sitting-room all benefit from double doors that open onto the private patio, bringing the outside in and wonderful for throwing open on a summers day.

The South West Coast Path is within easy reach of the property where you can explore the pretty Helford estuary to the west or head east to discover hidden coves on the way to the coastal town of Falmouth. There is plenty within easy reach by car; if you don't fancy the walk, the thriving maritime town of Falmouth is only short drive away and offers shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants aplenty; keen gardeners will love exploring Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens on the banks of the Helford River, and for active members of the party the north coast surfing beaches are only a 40 minute drive away.

Please note, there are 26 shallow steps down to the cottage from the parking-area.

The centrally-located Leisure Centre (open all year except Christmas Day) with heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, table-tennis and pool tables, are all free for guests to use, together with a communal barbecue-area, two all-weather tennis courts and a children's play-area. The Leisure Centre can arrange daily delivery of newspapers and breakfast supplies, and carries a small range of frozen meals, ice creams and food gifts, all locally sourced (just ask at reception).

Boats and dinghies are welcome on site but commercial and camper vans are regretfully not permitted.
