Overlooking the spectacular Lynher Valley, detached Wotton Stable is ideally located for exploring both Cornwall and Devon. The quarter-mile private drive is shared with the Owners, who farm cattle and sheep nearby, and with Wotton Granary (1501), which also shares the fabulous heated swimming pool (opening times 10am to 7pm daily). The cottage has reversed accommodation, the living-room enjoying lovely countryside views. With its beamed ceilings, comfortable sofas, wood-burner and well-equipped kitchen, this room is ideal for relaxing after days out. Also upstairs is an en suite bedroom, its window looking across the valley. Downstairs are two more en suite bedrooms, the twin bedroom and bathroom. Outside, the private enclosed garden is perfect for sitting and admiring the wonderful scenery.
Whitsand Bay is just six miles from Wotton Stable, where the coastal footpaths, picturesque little villages tucked into rocky coves and fabulous sandy beaches await your discovery. Also within easy driving distance are Dartmoor, the renowned golf course at St Mellion, National Trust properties Cotehele and Lanhydrock, and the Marine Aquarium in nearby Plymouth.
