The original beamed ceiling, deep window seats and antique furnishings give the sitting/dining-room a delightfully restful feel, its fireplace and wood-burning stove making it welcoming for winter retreats. A step leads down to the sunny kitchen and bathroom, with the bedrooms on the first floor.
A real plus is the lovely enclosed garden, terraced in places, and a ten minute walk takes you to the excellent local pub.
Approached via an unmade lane, with only a couple of neighbours, this is the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday.
